How it all started

Over a decade ago, I started out customizing vintage shoes! Then Clothing. I worked as a stylist for “Barneys New York, and my Clients would ask me to customize their luxury items. As my clientele grew so did the demand for my one of a kind Re-Imagined Vintage pieces. I one day had a client walk right up to me with a determined look in their eyes and asked “Where Did You Get That Shirt?” I said I made it! They said I’ll give you $300 for it right now! I took it off “Quick, Fast and A Hurry” I began to think about creating my own store That not only incorporated “Fashion Items” but as well as Art and items for the Spirit. With all of that in mind I created Black Balloon. A Place to shop for those whom is looking for something different. A place for someone that’s uniquely “YOU”

Philosophy

We are Fashion/Art Brand created for the rock star at heart. Using 10+ years of experience in fashion it is My goal to design key pieces that will easily transition into any wardrobe. Many pieces within the collection are hand crafted and each item is unique in its own special way. I work with vintage to lessen the impact on the echo systems. There is about 25 BILLIONS POUNDS OF CLOTHES BEING TRASH, left behind in LANDFILLS. Shopping BLACKBALLOON70.com helps to fight that. The Black Balloon customer’s style is Eye-Catchingly chic and knows that Black Balloon pieces are collectible. The t-shirts and tanks are carefully selected and are made of a fine cotton blend. It's both casual and luxe! And makes an easy transition from day to night.
